Nylon 6/6
Material Notes: Nylon 6/6 is a polyamide produced from hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid and is also known as nylon 66. It is well known for its strength, ability to withstand heat, and durability which makes it useful in textiles and plastics.
Applications: Widely used in industrial rivets, nuts, and washers due to its strength and chemical resistance, Nylon 6/6 is also used in robotics or automotive engineering. Its strength-to-weight ratio makes it useful in making toothbrushes, zippers, and even clothes like swimsuits and sports clothes.
