C260 Brass
Material Notes: C260 Brass, also known as Cartridge Brass, is a versatile alloy of copper and zinc with a composition of 68.5 -71.5% copper and 28.5 -31.5% zinc. This finish metal is known to have high ductility and is corrosion-resistant. It is also resistant to rusting and brushed to satin for a polished yellow finish. These properties and good thermal and electrical conductivity make it suitable for use decoratively and for industrial and commercial contexts.
Applications: C260 brass’s durability, malleability, and conductivity make it an all-purpose material used in various industries, including plumbing devices, automotive components, electronics, weapons, artillery, musical devices, and even ornaments. Because of its excellent soldering and brazing properties, it is available for sale in plate, rod, and sheet forms, each serving a different manufacturing purpose.
