Material Notes: Explore the advantages of Alcoa’s 2024 aluminum alloy. This exceptionally strong material is very easy to machine and have excellent surface finishes, making it ideal for structural applications. Moreover, 2024 alloy workability has improved so significantly that it has become a better choice than the older, and less advanced, 2017 alloy.
Uses: We manufacture precision components, including aircraft fittings, bolts and hydraulic valve bodies, gears, clocks and computers, shafts, fuse parts, missiles, munitions, pistons, nuts, couplings, rectifier and worm gears, and fastening devices. Moreover, we pay attention to the veterinary and orthopedic activities and supplies for which we produce specialized equipment and structures.
